Many of you have probably heard about Twitch Plays Pokemon and the associated lore. The Helix Fossil is considered a deity in the story line. I thought it might be fun to be able to have my own Helix Fossil in my town, so I have created a Helix Fossil Pattern.

Giveaway - Golden Watering Can! - CLOSED

Would you like to win a golden watering can? Great, because I just so happen to be giving one away!

Here is how it works:

1. Follow me on Twitter @TH_of_NewArbor.

2. Comment below with your username.

3. Wait for me to announce the winner!

I will use a random number generator to pick a winner. Whoever's comment number matches the one that is drawn wins the golden watering can. I will send the winner a direct message with my friend code, and then visit their town to give them their prize.

Please note that only one entry per person will be counted.

I will announce the winner Saturday, October 5th. Be sure to check back to see if you've won!

Moe!

You might remember that in my last NewArbor News Update, I discussed my excitement over Cheri moving out so that I could build my cafe. Her moving out left NewArbor with only nine villagers, which meant an opportunity to snag my dream villager: Moe!

I checked the Bell Tree Forums' Villager Trading Plaza frequently. After about a week of searching, I finally found someone willing to part with him (with a little bell incentive, of course!). I went to their town, and convinced Moe that moving to NewArbor would be the best decision he could ever make. He had a plot of land picked out for his house the next day, and moved in the day after. I haven't stopped stalking talking to him since he arrived.

Wind Waker HD Celebration - Mossy Tile with Triforce Pattern

Wind Waker HD is going to be released tonight tonight at midnight in the Nintendo E Shop on the Wii U! To celebrate, today's pattern is a variation of the original Mossy Tile. This pattern has a Triforce engraved in the stone. Putting a few of these down in your town will immediately give it a distinctively Hylian feel!

NewArbor News Update

It has been a while since I posted about all of the exciting new things happening in NewArbor, so this post will cover all of it.

My T.I.Y. upgraded to the Emporium. Now I will be able to buy fertilizer and test it out so that I can finally complete the Breeding Hybrids page.

I also received my golden watering can for maintaining a perfect town status for 15 consecutive days. I wish that you could receive a golden watering can for every 15 days that you have a perfect town. I suppose that is what burner characters are for though.

The same day that I got my golden watering can, I also got the golden axe from Leif. Now I can chop down trees to my hearts content (which kind of contradicts the whole "Tree Hugger" thing, but I think I can find a way to live with myself!).

Shiny Charizard Pattern

It is just like my original Charizard pattern, but shiny.
